Material Processing Technician - Clark-MXR, Inc, Dexter
Description:
Our micromachining division is seeking a self-motivated technician to perform contract manufacturing to customer specification and work with Clark-MXR staff to develop enabling process technologies. Duties will include operating CNC laser centers, cleaning equipment, inspection, and packaging.
Requirements:

Designs, provides leadership and technical support on the development of new products, technologies, and processes to meet cost, schedule and performance by target markets. Requirements:
Degree in B.S.E.E required with 5-7 yrs exp in RF/Microwave circuit or component design from DC to 65 GHz and avg power levels to 300 W. Exp with CAD systems (AutoCad, SolidWorks). Exp in electrical testing, test equip, S-Parameter, etc. Exp with computer-aided design software (ADS, AWR Microwave Office, Sonnet, CST).

Description:
One of Detroit’s major players in new vehicle technologies is looking to add a diagnostics expert to their team for their growing electric and hybrid vehicle business. As a key diagnostics strategist for the company you will be responsible for the diagnostics systems development for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Control Systems. This includes the diagnostics architecture, calibration, and actual diagnostic algorithms for the system. You will also develop test methodologies and tools used to diagnose and prove out the controls systems for electric battery and hybrid vehicle controls as they relate to the vehicle systems that control the drive train and charging systems. In this position you will “own” the architecture. This is a long term Salaried Contract position for one of the 4 major players in new battery technologies.
Requirements:
BSCE, BSEE or advanced degree; 3+ years automotive experience; Algorithm development; A background in automotive controls and diagnostics for any of the following: power train, ABS, collision avoidance, hybrid controls, battery controls etc; Diagnostics tools experience highly desirable; Multiple OEM experience a plus HEV or Electric Vehicle experience a plus; Solid communication skills.

Battery Management Systems Engineer, ID#: 2383 - Growing Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Team, SE MI
Description:
One of the major players in new vehicle technologies is looking to add a Control Systems Engineer to their growing electric and hybrid vehicle team. As a Battery State subject matter expert you will be responsible for the control systems used for hybrid and/or electric vehicles. You will begin at the design level with customer requirements and take the design to production. Working with existing designs you will engineer continuous development and improvement to battery state control systems that regulate: state-of-charge, state-of-health, state-of-power etc. You will interface with customers and other team members supporting battery energy management, automated testing, CAN network interfaces with Vehicle ECU’s, validation testing, contactor controls and diagnostics. This is a long term Salaried Contract position for one of the 4 major players in new battery technologies.
Requirements:
BSCE, BSEE, advanced degree highly desirable. Experience with Ni-MH and or Li-ion batteries, controls and systems. Knowledge of: battery chemistry and construction, cell design, contactors, materials, cathodes, anodes, electrochemistry, charge and discharge; System design and development; Matlab code generation and modification, validation and verification testing, regression testing, controller algorithms, CAN protocols; Multi-cell battery experience in a high voltage environment; Solid communication skills.

Starting with the system specs you will develop the algorithms that control the battery pack charging with using battery control modules and microcontrollers…from there you will carry out the design at the code level by working with the embedded engineers to assure implementation of your design.
