Developer will be responsible for the design and development of programs, PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripts in a Data Warehouse Teradata environment. Will need to be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. SCOPE: Adhere to product engineering methodology working collaboratively with product teams (application development, data integration, quality assurance, configuration management, product management); Perform technical analysis including development of prototypes and preparing technical specifications; Coding of application components using UNIX scripting, SQL, and Teradata; Estimate and plan development work, track and report on task progress, and deliver work on schedule; Unit testing and basic performance testing of all code deliverables; Document coding and testing activities necessary for the proper installation, maintenance and operation of the software; Work within a structured development environment that includes version control, unit testing, automated builds, design reviews and code reviews.
Requirements:
US Citizen; Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field; 1 - 2 years programming experience preferred or relevant experience; Demonstrated technical knowledge of the software development lifecycle including: creating requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support; Very strong PL/ SQL; Experience with relational databases, particularly Teradata is a plus; Knowledge of basic data warehousing concepts and best practices would be considered a plus; Must be motivated to learn new technologies and products; Solid communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) and strong interpersonal skills required; Healthcare experience desirable.

Principal Software Engineer with Hardware Background (ID - 34) - Reveal Design Automation , Ann Arbor
Description:
We are a funded start-up firm that is developing a scalable formal verification tool for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) firms. We currently have a prototype that we are developing with active engagement of a leading EDA firm. We are looking for a principal software developer with hardware experience to join the engineering team to do the following: Drive the prioritization and implementation of new features; Lead efforts to duplicate, identify, and fix bugs; Continually refactor code to improve performance, maintainability, and readability; Support the development and optimization of proprietary algorithms; Perform version control maintenance.
Requirements:
C/C++ programming in Linux environment (important); Experience with writing shell-scripts or Perl scripts; Basic knowledge of digital logic design (gate level schematics, netlists); Comfortable with SVN version control; Interest in working in a start-up environment.
