Design Engineer - Magnetic Ventures, Ann ArborDescription:
Magnetic Ventures is looking for a highly experienced engineer in mechanical design to aid us in developing and designing a novel “intelligent” knee brace used to correct bow-legged syndrome. The theory has been completed and we need someone to come on the team to design and build preliminary prototypes in order to be used by patients in the fall. We hold patent-pending technology, have been funded by the NCIIA, and look to raise a round of venture capital in the next 6 to 8 months.
Requirements:
Motivated design engineer highly proficient in: (1) CAE/CAD; (2) Manufacturing technique and understanding how to use outside resources to complete prototyping; 3) Significant Product Engineering Experience; 4) Self-motivation and drive to develop and design on one’s own. With potential market entry within 12 months, we seek only the most motivated candidates - Slackers need not apply.
